Polygonatum japonica, also known as "Vintage", is the rhizome of the perennial herb of Liliaceae, Polygonatum vulgaris. Because of the drooping leaves of the grass and trees, like the drooping of the official crown and tassels in ancient times, it is majestic. Soothes skin, heals diseases and prolongs life. Yuzhu is nourishing but not greasy, not cold or dry, so it has the power of "replenishing the five internal organs, nourishing qi and blood, nourishing and moisturizing, and removing wind and heat".

"Materia Medica": "Yuzhu, sweet and fatty, soft and moisturizing product. Now it is only used to treat the symptoms of dryness and heat in the lungs and stomach, dry body fluids, thirst and thirst, and flaming stomach fire, dry thirst and grains, and easy hunger by eating more. Lily Polygonatum Porridge

practice:
1. Wash the lilies and tear them into petals;
2. Wash the Yuzhu, cut into 4 cm long segments;
3. Wash the japonica rice, soak it in cold water for half an hour, remove it, and drain the water;
4. Put the japonica rice, lily, and Yuzhu into the pot, add about 1000 ml of cold water, bring to a boil over high heat, and simmer for about 45 minutes on low heat;

5. Add sugar to the pot, stir well, simmer for a while, then serve.

Yuzhu Ginseng Chicken

practice:
1. Chop chicken thighs into large pieces and wash them.
2. Rinse Yuzhu quickly with water, put it into the stew pot together with chicken nuggets and ginseng slices, add seasonings and 4 bowls of water, and cover the pot with plastic wrap.
3. Steam over water (or in an electric pot) for about 30 minutes, until the chicken is cooked and ready to eat

Yuzhu Yam and Cucumber Soup

Ingredients: 15 grams of Yuzhu, 15 grams of yam, 100 grams of cucumber.
