🌟Red Dates, Black Rice and Ginger Porridge🌟

Ingredients: 40g white rice, 40g black rice, 5 red dates, 15g fresh ginger, 25g brown sugar

practice:

  1. Wash all ingredients, slice ginger and remove the pits from red dates.
  2. Black rice needs to be soaked in water the night before.
  3. Add black rice, red dates, and ginger slices to 3 cups of water, and simmer over medium-low heat until the water is absorbed.
  4. Then add the rice and 5 cups of water, and cook over medium-low heat until it becomes porridge.
  5. Add brown sugar 5 minutes before serving.

Efficacy: Black rice is a medicinal and edible rice that has the effects of stimulating appetite, benefiting the middle burner, strengthening the spleen, and warming the liver. It is very good for nourishing conditions such as premature graying, postpartum and post-illness weakness, anemia, and kidney deficiency. Cooking it with ginger slices and red dates in porridge can better enhance the effects of black rice and has a warming effect against cold. Drinking a bowl in the morning not only boosts immunity but also warms the stomach and prevents cold, starting a wonderful weekend!

Notice:

1. Black rice is not easy to cook, so cook the black rice first before adding the white rice. If the black rice has been soaked long enough, it can be cooked together with the white rice, red dates, and ginger slices.

2. Removing the seeds from red dates can make them less hot and more gentle.
