Sweet potato 160g, lotus root 160g, red apple 160g, 2 cinnamon sticks, appropriate amount of brown sugar/red sugar
practice:
1⃣Wash all the ingredients. Peel and cut the sweet potato and lotus root into pieces, peel and core the apple and cut into pieces.
2⃣First, put the sweet potato, lotus root, and cinnamon stick into the pot, add water to cover the ingredients, and bring to a boil over high heat.
3⃣Then add the apple pieces and cook together until the sweet potato and lotus root are both cooked through.
4⃣Add an appropriate amount of brown sugar/red sugar, then cook for 1 more minute until the sugar dissolves.
Efficacy: Strengthens the spleen, warms the middle, and dispels cold; sweet potato is sweet and neutral in nature, can tonify the middle and harmonize the blood, benefit qi and generate fluids, moisten the intestines and stomach, and relieve constipation; lotus root is sweet and warm in nature, with effects of benefiting the stomach and spleen, nourishing the blood and tonifying; red apple can clear heat and relieve irritability, generate fluids and quench thirst, benefit the spleen and stomach, and aid digestion; cinnamon can warm the interior and dispel cold.
