Due to the monsoon, the weather in Malaysia has been almost continuous heavy rain recently!
As the climate temperature drops, do people with yang deficiency constitution experience more obvious coldness in their limbs?
Here is a recipe for a warming foot bath to dispel cold, so you can stay warm even on rainy days~
Ingredients: 10g each of cinnamon twig, safflower, and Sichuan pepper, 5 slices of fresh ginger
practice:
1⃣Put all the herbs into a basin of hot water and boil on high heat for 10 minutes.
2⃣Then pour into the basin and add an appropriate amount of room temperature water to adjust the temperature.
3⃣Soak both feet for 15 to 20 minutes.
4⃣Soak every night before bed, continue for 3 to 5 days.
Efficacy: Helps to dispel cold and remove dampness, promotes qi circulation and blood activation, warms the meridians and activates the collaterals.
Notice:
1. Remember to dry your feet after soaking them, otherwise it can easily lead to the retention of wind-cold and dampness.
2. It is not advisable to take a foot bath 30 minutes before or after meals because during a foot bath, the blood vessels in the feet dilate, increasing blood volume there, which reduces blood flow to the gastrointestinal tract and internal organs, affecting digestive function.
