Blood deficiency is a concept in traditional Chinese medicine,belonging to a type of blood syndrome.All diseases caused by deficiency of yin blood can be called blood deficiency,mainly manifested as sallow complexion and lack of luster,pale lips and nails, weak and thin pulse,and in severe cases, dizziness, fatigue, vertigo,palpitations, insomnia, and other symptoms.Anemia is a concept in Western medicine.The concept of blood deficiency is broader,and based on the manifestations of anemia,it can be classified as a type of blood deficiency.
